Transition Days for 2022 Foundation (Prep) Class
Due to Covid 19 restrictions we are only able to run two of our four planned transition days.
The first day will be Friday 19th November from 9.00am to 2.20pm where children will take part in Chinese and PE classes as well as spend time in the classroom.
The second day will be Tuesday 30th November from 9.00am to 3.20pm where they will take part in Music and Art classes as well as spend time in the classroom.
On both of these days they will also work with students from our upper grade, and will be forming “buddy” style relationships with students from our 2021 year 5 class.
At the end of the last transition day, your child will receive a laminated sheet with pictures and names of their teachers and special buddy.
We request that you use the top carpark near our basketball court for drop off and pick up.

It is really important that children bring adequate quantities of healthy food to school in order for their energy and concentratin levels be sustained. Small snacks can often work better instead of a large serving of one thing.
Children begin school full time as of the first day of Term One, 2022, and attend full time right from the start. We found this successful in the past. Children leaving school after a short day often cause more problems than are solved for both parents and students.

A normal school day runs as follows:
9.00 Start of School Day
11.00 - 11.30 Morning Recess
1.30 - 2.20 Lunch
3.20 Finish of School Day
