Stitch and Peanut

After the sad passing of our 17-year-old bearded dragon Fudge we adopted another central bearded dragon  from a family in Doreen. His name is Stitch, and he is 3 years old.  Our Prep teacher Mrs Colistra spent quite a bit of time getting him used to the students as he was unsure of his new surroundings.

We were then given the opportunity to take on a mistreated rescue lizard called Peanut who spent most of his life in a shoe box with no light which caused his deformed tail. He is a Northern blue tongue lizard, approximately 2 Years old, and was going to be put down if nobody would take him.  We weren’t sure how Stitch and Peanut would get along but as the photos show they are the greatest of friends.
